Aired Friday afternoons from January to May, 1973 and from October 1973 to March 1974.
TGIF was an old acronym for Thank Goodness It's Friday. It was used as the name of this CBLT production to highlight activities in Toronto, on the weekend.
The hosts were Alex Trebek, Agota Gabor and Ben Wicks who took turns in the hosting chair each week. Regular contributors included Sol Littman on art, Brenna Brown on restaurants and dining and Harold Town on movies. The executive producer was Dodi Robb.
