Sketchcom

Broadcast Run:
1998 to 1999
Broadcast Medium:
Television

Aired weekly from October 5, 1998 to February 2, 1999

Roger Abbott and Don Ferguson of the Air Farce produced this half-hour comedy show featuring the best of Canada’s sketch comedy teams. The program was produced in front of a studio audience offering each group a chance to reproduce their stage work for television. Audiences outside of their region did not know many of the groups, so the show offered national exposure for new talent. The show featured original comedy from Fast & Dirty, Skippy’s Rangers, The Bobroom, Local Anxiety, Corky and the Juice Pigs and Lame & Shooster.
