Puppet People

Broadcast Run:
1971 to 1973
Broadcast Medium:
Television

Produced at CTV’s Montreal affiliate station CFCF-TV, Puppet People was hosted by Jerry Layne, produced and directed by Sidney Cohen, and featured puppets and children in a quiz show based on mini comedy sketches acted by puppets. The puppets were created by Don Keller; the 'star' puppet, Lester, also appeared with Jerry Layne on an episode of The Love Boat.

This innovative children’s half hour ran on the Network on Saturday mornings at 11am for two years, September 1971-1973.
