One Night Stand

Aired Saturday evenings from April 17 to June 26, 1976.

This ten week series of half-hour concerts featured former CFL player Mel Profit and Weekday host Rob Parker, who introduced the performers on this music show.

Guests included the Christopher Ward Band, Dominic Troiano, Diane Heatherington, Shawne Jackson and Mendelson Joe. Christopher Ward later became a VJ on MuchMusic. John Martin who produced this show, later produced many of the remote concerts broadcast by MuchMusic, including a televised Stevie Ray Vaughan performance at the El Mocambo club in Toronto. The director of One Night Stand was Dee Gilchrist.
