A co-production of Temple Street Productions, in association with BBC America and  Space Canada, Orphan Black premiered in Canada on the Space Channel on March 30th 2013, with the tenth and final episode of Series One playing on June 1st 2013.  

Set in Toronto, the science fiction series starred Tatiana Maslany as Sarah Manning, a woman who stole the identity of a woman who she saw commit suicide - and who looked exactly like her.  The woman proves to have been a clone, and the series revealedd a number of other clones along the way, as Sarah became more and more involved in the world of illegal cloning. All the clones were played by Tatiana Maslany.

Other members of the cast included Kevin Hanchard, Dylan Bruce, Jordan Gavaris, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Skyler Wexler, Inga Cadranel and Evelyne Brochu.

The series was created by John Fawcett and Graham Manson for Temple Street Productions.
