In the serial drama Marilyn, Lise and Sylvie Payette recount the adventures of a widow who does housework in private homes in order to earn a living. 


From 1991 to 1994, Radio-Canada broadcast 300 episodes of the series “Marilyn”. This serial drama , which debuted on September 16, 1991, was broadcast daily from Monday to Thursday, was directed by Monique Brossard, Michel Bériault, Maurice Falardeau, Robert Gagnon, Albert Girard, Maude Martin and André Tousignant. Several other characters evolved around Marilyn, whose character was played by Louisette Dussault.
