Oscar Brand was the host of this series of concerts taped at various universities in Canada, with Canadian and U.S. guests including Gale Garnett (before she added the middle name Zoe) and the Tarriers, David Campbell and Eric Anderson.

The series debuted in the fall of 1963, and played at 9:30pm on Fridays. In its second season it moved to 7:30pm on Tuesdays. In its third – and final – season on CTV it was seen Thursdays at 9:30pm. In the fall of 1966, producer Syd Banks took the show to the CBC, replacing it on CTV with another show starring Oscar Brand, titled Brand New Scene (q.v.)
