Les Parent

Broadcast Run:
2008 to 2016
Broadcast Medium:
Television

Being a parent is not exactly a walk in the park, even if your family espouses traditional values. Les Parent were Natalie (Anne Dorval), Louis-Paul (Daniel Brière) and their three sons: Thomas, 14 years old, Olivier, 12 years old, and Zacharie, 8 years old. The problems to be resolved were numerous: How do you get three guys to share in the household chores? How do you deal with school break? How do you respond to an English teacher who thinks that your son is a reincarnation of Hitler? The script was written by Jean- François Léger and the production directed by Martin Talbot.

In addition to the leading actors Anne Dorval and Daniel Brière, the cast included Louis-Philippe Beauchamp, Maude Carmel-Ouellet, Joey Scarpellino and Raphaël Grenier-Benoit.

The series was broadcast in France as of October 2010 on Canal+Family, in its original version (Quebec French) but partially dubbed to make it more acceptable to French audiences.
