Les chefs! was first broadcast on Jue 14, 2010. Hosted by Julie Bélanger and Daniel Vézina, it featured contestants engaged in a culinary competition.
14 aspiring chefs faced off against one another in a culinary competition, in which they were required to make use of a Quebec-based terroir product in their recipe. Every week, one contestant was eliminated.
The overall winner received a $50,000 prize, namely $20,000 to be spent in the Relais & Châteaux (three in France and three in Québec), as well as two cash awards of $15,000 each.
