A police series written by Christian Fournier, Jean-Claude Lord and Pierre Pelletier, and directed by Jean-Claude Lord, TVA  aired eight 60-minute episodes of Jasmine in 1996.

Jasmine Rocheleau (Linda Malo), a young mullato woman, was a fresh recruit to the Montreal police force. She began her career as a police officer just as a police brutality controversy is grabbing the headlines, "The Casimir Case", where a young black man had been shot by a police officer during a police operation. The young recruit had to deal with pressure from both her colleague police officers and the black community.

The series starred several other actors including JiCI Lauzon in a starring role, as well as Karina Aktouf, Geneviève Brouillette, Marc-André Coallier, Jacques Godin, Charlotte Laurier, Manon Miclette, Sylvie Moreau, Yvan Ponton, Julien Poulin, Isabel Richer and Marie-Soleil Tougas.
