Eye Bet

Broadcast Run:
1972 to 1974
Broadcast Medium:
Television

Another of the many game shows hosted for CTV by Jim Perry, Eye Bet asked contestants to watch film clips and then answer questions about them. The challenge of answering the questions, plus the interest factor involved in identifying the movies from which the clips came, made this particular show format rather more attractive than the average daytime strip.

The series was delivered by the network to its affiliates from 10:00 to 10:30am daily, but was scheduled in many different time periods across the country. It ran from the fall of 1972 until September 1974, and was produced at CFTO-TV Toronto
