In the TV soap opera Entre chien et loup, Raymonde Descôteaux and Aurore Dessureault-Descôteaux depicted the lives of the inhabitants of a small village in the Mauricie region in the early 20th century.

Télé-Métropole aired Entre chien et loup from 1984 (first broadcast: September 17) to 1992. This TV soap opera, directed by José Aumais, Claude Colbert and Réal Nantel,  starred Jacques Thisdale, Marie Bégin, Chantal Provost and Serge Turgeon.
