This 22 episode series was executive produced by David Steinberg (Mad about You, Seinfeld) and written by Frank van Keeken (also from Mad about You). Big Sound took place in a Vancouver, British Columbia music talent agency and followed the day to day life of an agent in the throes of a mid-life crisis. The show featured cameos by a number of Canadian music stars playing themselves, including Bryan Adams and the Barenaked Ladies.

 

The cast included Colin Cunningham as Nick Keester, David Steinberg as Gabe Moss, Greg Evigan as Bill Sutton, Enuka Okuma as Donna, and Deanna  Milligan as Jessie Polt.
