Art of Cooking
For many years Pol Martin was Montreal’s best-known restaurateur, and his culinary skills were a natural for transition to the television screen. His book The Art of Cooking gave the series its title, and had Chef Martin showing four students how to prepare the most succulent dishes, in a stylish kitchen setting.
The series was produced by Sidney Cohen for three years in the studios of CTV affiliate CFCF-TV in Montreal, but for only one of these years was the series seen on the full Network, where it played Monday through Friday, 9:00 – 9:30am, in the 1977-78 season.
