An action adventure series featured a female Zorro-like character, Tessa Alvardo , who set out to avenge her father's death. Blessed with beauty, brawn, and a skill for the blade, Tessa was played by Tessie Santiago. The series was shot entirely in Spain.

Prairie Berry Pie

This children’s series, set in a grain elevator on the Pairies, included music, variety and story-telling, hosted by Brenda Baker. The show combined human actors with puppets.

Hosted by Su-Ling Goh, this fast-paced, half-hour entertainment magazine offered an exciting look at the North American entertainment scene, with a special focus on Canada. Features included interviews and news on stars from Canada and around the world, the nation's growing film and television industries, as well as coverage of major new movies, TV series, specials, music, books, theatre and the Internet. Based in Calgary, Inside Entertainment had news bureaus in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and Winnipeg.

Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda

This science fiction drama series starred Kevin Sorbo as Dylan Shepherd, the last starship captain of the System's Commonwealth, an Earth-based government on a crusade to restore hope to the stars after a brutal civil war that had left them all in darkness. Also in the cast were Keith Hamilton Todd as Tyr Anasazi and Lisa Ryder as Beka Valentine.

Flash Forward

This series follows two childhood friends as they navigate their way through adolescence. Becca (played by Jewel Staite)  and Tucker (played by Ben Foster),were friends since birth and in junior high were attempting to keep their friendship strong, but other things kept getting in the way. Also in the cast: Asia Vieira as Christine and Theodore Borders as Miles.

Big Sound

This 22 episode series was executive produced by David Steinberg (Mad about You, Seinfeld) and written by Frank van Keeken (also from Mad about You). Big Sound took place in a Vancouver, British Columbia music talent agency and followed the day to day life of an agent in the throes of a mid-life crisis. The show featured cameos by a number of Canadian music stars playing themselves, including Bryan Adams and the Barenaked Ladies.

Stargate SG-1

This science-fiction series starred Richard Dean Anderson as Colonel Jonathan "Jack" O'Neill, team leader of Stargate SG-1, and was based on the 1994 theatrical film "Stargate". In the film, scientists and military types investigated an inter-dimensional portal that led to a new planet named Abydos. In the series, there were multiple stargates through which the team explored new worlds.

New World Wine Tour, The

Host Jonathan Welsh explored the world of wine and great food each week, welcoming a different celebrity or personality as his guest for dinner. The half-hour series, designed to inform and entertain, had appeal for everyone from wine novices to wine enthusiasts. The show first aired on CHCH-TV, Hamilton, then part of the Global Television Network

Bob and Margaret

This prime-time adult animated series was based on the Academy Award winning animated short film, "Bob's Birthday", created by David Fine and Alison Snowden, produced by the National Film Board in concert with Channel 4 in England. Each episode focused on the ordinary but angst-ridden lives of Bob and Margaret Fish, a middle-class dentist and his chiropodist wife, along with their two dogs, William and Elizabeth.

Psi Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal

This series, hosted by actor Dan Aykroyd, followed one story per episode that had been culled from the Office of Scientific Investigation and Research (OSIR), an organization that actually existed in real life. A four-member team investigated paranormal activity that included alien abductions, ghosts, demons, vampires and zombies. Starring Nancy Anne Sakovich, Barclay Hope, Colin Fox, Soo Garay, and Matt Frewer.
