Investigation Discovery

On June 4th, CTV and Discovery Communications announced a renewal of their joint venture, through which three new channel brands would be launched in Canada.  One of these was Investigation Discovery, which would replace CTV's Court TV speciality channel.

Launched in the US in 2008, Investigation Discovery described itself as bringing justice to television. It dealt with all aspects of forensic analysis, and went into some less high-profile areas of investigation, including the paranormal.

The channel featured high profile journalist Paula Zahn with her feature On The Case, as well as segments titled Prison Wives and I Almost Got Away With It.
