La Corporation de radio montagnaise de Mingan

CKKE-FM began broadcasting in March. The call letters stood for: Corporation Kaiamiumistuk Kapetatshimut Ekuanitshit.


On July 10, the CRTC approved the application by La Corporation de radio montagnaise de Mingan to change CKKE-FM's frequency from 90.1 MHz to 89.9 MHz. The Commission noted that the licensee had, in fact, been operating on the frequency of 89.9 MHz since it commenced broadcast operations.
